With
the summer months upon us and gardens starting to sprout think about
picking all the fresh ingredients in your garden, local farmers market
or one of the great local specialty markets. Nothing beats garden fresh
tomatoes, the mozzarella you made, a great
Balsamic and EVOO to create a
nice Caprese Salad or Flatbread Bruschetta with Oven-Dried Tomatoes, Pesto and your own mozzarella.

Start
by buying the ingredients
in bulk so you have plenty on hand for a simple appetizer or dinner
party. What you don't use you can freeze. I would go another step and
measure out smaller portions and freeze separately so all you have
to do is grab the amount you need...no waste! One more thing...watch the
